“Mr. Coleman has an unmistakable way of moving, seeming to pivot, jump and idle on a dime.” The New York Times

Based in Montréal, Canada, Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie is a group of immensely talented and deeply committed performers united around the partnership of internationally acclaimed choreographers Bill Coleman and Laurence Lemieux. Composed of 11 of Canada’s finest dancers, this extraordinary company will make its California debut with a program highlighting the work of National Ballet of Canada choreographer James Kudelka, who is recognized as one of North America’s foremost dance artists and noted for his rare ability to blend classical and modern dance forms. The performance will feature Kudelka’s Fifteen Heterosexual Duets, a hit of New York’s Fall for Dance Festival and praised by The New York Times as “the evening’s jewel… full of ingenious partnering.”
